Structure
*# of Teams TBD based on sign-ups
*Top 6 or 8 teams (dependent upon size of league) will make the Playoffs
Playoffs will be 3 weeks from Nov. 26 – Dec. 16).
-Head-to-Head 1st tie breaker, Overall Win/Loss Record 2nd tie breaker, Coin Flip 3rd tie breaker.
-Tie in playoffs: 1st tie breaker is TEAM COMBINED NET SCORE, 2nd tie breaker goes to match cards – winner of toughest hole wins (net score).
-Championship Match will be 18 holes (will remain $22.50 per person)
Format
*Match Play adjusted for Handicap – (Week 1 will be scored after Week 2 play using the first two weeks as your established handicap)
-Team Match Play = Team 1 Total Handicap Score vs. Team 2 Total Handicap Score
-For each hole won a point is awarded, ties give each team a half point.
-A team win awards an additional point, if teams tie overall holes, each team is awarded a half point.
-Everyone, regardless of having played in our prior leagues, will start with a fresh handicap this season
*Standings will go by OVERALL POINTS, not Win/Loss Record!
Price & Prizes
*Registration is $25 per person ($50 per team)
-All registration money goes toward prizes (weekly & year end)
*Weekly cost is $22.50 per person ($45 per team)
*Weekly Prizes (Playoffs not included)
-Top Individual Gross Score each week = $TBD NSG Gift Card or Credit
-Top Individual Net Score each week = $TBD NSG Gift Card (no net score winner first week)
*Payout to all Playoff Teams (Per team, not per person) – will be awarded in NSG Gift Cards – amounts based on # of teams.
Rules/Settings
1) White Tees – Men, Red Tees – Seniors (60+), Yellow Tees - Women
2) No Wind; Fairways – Hard; Greens – Moderate; Pins – Moderate;
Putting – 10 foot gimmes
3) Course will change weekly – TBD by Next Shot Golf
4) Rounds can be played ANYTIME Sunday through Saturday!
5) Must notify staff that you are playing your league round before you start and show your round to staff upon completion. Staff will ensure the settings and course are correct before you start.
6) Max score is triple bogey. Once you hit triple bogey, pick up (score will be adjusted to triple bogey).
7) No Mulligans. If a shot does not register, just rehit. Any glitches please contact staff.
8) Round must be finished within the hour. Any holes not completed will be counted as a triple bogey.
